Naushad founded NorthPort Logistics in 2020 after a successful carrier in a variety of highly competitive and fast paced environments in logistics and freight forwarding.

Naushad’s career within the industry developed at an intense pace once he started at Hema’s Group, Sri Lanka where he was fast tracked through management level into senior Sales & Operational roles within Hema’s Transportation sector. Spending several years within Hema’s, he designed and delivered several major change programmes with Sri Lanka’s top manufacturers.

Naushad moved to India, to gain more experience and knowledge in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. He steered Hema’s Freight Business Unit across Indian Sub-Continent. Now, Naushad is an accomplished Logistician with an extensive 25+ years of experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry.

During his tenure in EFL as National Head – Sales & Marketing, he led the successful delivery of new business opportunity, grew the Supply Chain and Forwarding client base, and was successful in securing and developing a number of major retail clients.

With rich expertise & experience, Naushad and Paul setup their First venture, Accel Transport and Logistics. They have been running Accel Transport and Logistics successfully for past 3 years. As an extension of the Accel Transport and Logistics, they have launched NorthPort Logistics based out in Sri Lanka.

Leading NorthPort through significant integrations, he is an experienced change manager, and a strong advocate of leveraging NorthPort organisational culture and values to drive performance.
